Should I confront my friend about ignoring me for months?

My female friend has been ignoring me for months. I have tried to get in touch with her on my own many times like visiting her at her workplace, calling her, etc. But she doesn't reciprocate my efforts anymore. She says she's going through some things, I dont understand because she's not shared with me. Do you think I should confront her once face to face and ask if she wants to end it, or are women non-confrontational and she hopes that after all I've done for her, I just fade away from her life, because I'm no longer of any use.

I think she needs some space for herself to recuperate from a tough time. I understand it is upsetting, because as a friend you want to be there for her, but some people have different ways to cope with a rough patch and in her case, it seems like she prefers to be left alone. It could also be a possibility that she doesn't feel good to share her issues as it would bring her into a state of vulnerability which will not help the situation. At least, she shared with you that she is going through some stuff instead of vanishing just like that. As a friend, the best thing to do is to respect her feelings, give her some time and space instead of being pushy until she is ready to get back to you.
