There's a BIG difference between being an ADULT and being "strong and independent" (which is almost always immediately followed by "and I don't need nothing from no man.")
@MrOracle But I see strong as being mentally strong when the going gets tough, learning from mistakes, don't back down from fears, setbacks, challenging yourself And independent being able to hold your own, managing on your own, self sufficiency. That's the only meaning I understand when I read 'strong and independent'. I am strong and independent. Proudly!
That's more the "adult" flavor, which I fully support - it's just that this phrase has taken on a major Feminist, Girl Boss, anti-male, anti-relationship association over the last couple of decades.
I think most women just want love and respect just like anyone. Problem is some don't accept love and respect is earned not given. And a lot of women today rather than take the time to earn it try to take the shortcut and manipulate thier way.

When a woman describes herself as strong and independent, it's pretty much the same thing as when a guy describes himself as a "nice guy." In both cases it typically means they are nothing of the sort!
I would hope so. I don't have time to hold her hand all day long and make decisions for her.

I wonder if a lot of them are told that's what they should want.
Some do, some don't and no one should be taking any notice of nonsense you see on YouTube videos.

@MrOracle We can only hope that despite feminists using it, we can properly distinguish which flavor is meant when someone says it.
They want to feel strong and independent. They also don’t want the responsibility of being strong and independent
No woman a strong independent anyway that’s a façade, their ego false reality
Yes. Until the bill comes.

only if it’s not that hard, most of the “boss babes” I've met usually had their dad or an ex husband to financially subsidize part of their life.
Quit showing black dudes fawning over white women under an anonymous account.
No, its all a lie.
They act on it until the shit hits the fan
Thank you
i think they want control but have no idea how to use it without being a bitch, the obvious solution is nobody needs to control anyone
