Do girls initiate texts with guys they're interested in?

Well, do they? There's this girl I've been interested for a while, all she does is text. She'll never initiate texts with me. But if I initiate them with her, she keeps them going. I only text her every other day at most.

well most girls don't like to feel like stalkers so they usually want the guy to text them first, infact I have friends who won't text the guy until he text's them first, which I feel is a little stupid so personally if I'm really liking a guy I text him first ocassionally but yea girls do like guys to iniate the text

Well. I can tell you that I like this guy. And I do initiate texts.

Well, if it was me, I'd text the girl every two or three days if I was interested...but that's just me and, as you can see, has led me to this question. I'm wondering whether I should just stop texting her altogether and see if she ever sends me a text again.

If I am interested in him and really think he is interested in me then yes I will initiate texting. If I am not really sure then I just wait for him to text me.

I will, but if he doesn't seem interested in the conversation, I stop initiating to see if he will.
