My boyfriend is very attracted to blonde girls with blue eyes. (Girls who resemble his mother).
I am a naturally brunnette with brown/hazel eyes. I'm attractive, exotic looking (eastern european) and the blonde hair blue eyes thing doesn't look good on me. But it hurts my self esteem knowing he attracted to a type which i am not.. He makes me feel "alright" which he refers to those types of women as "superior" or something. Any thoughts?

You not being the "type" he values the highest in looks isn't really important. In a long-term relationship the chemistry and matching personalities start to outweigh looks quite soon. And just because he thinks something is more attractive, doesn't mean he doesn't find you attractive. The honest truth is that in most cases there are hundreds, even thousands of people your partner would find more attractive than you, but it doesn't mean you're not attractive too. He chose to be with you for a reason.

Look, guys can be attracted to LOTS of types of women. But if he doesn't make you feel like he is attracted to you, don't ignore that. It's a relationship problem. He likely would NOT be okay if he didn't feel very sexually attractive to you, and you need to not be okay with this.

People don't have just one type. We don't find just one type of person attractive. And you can't sit there and tell me that you haven't found someone attractive that looks no where near how your boyfriend looks.

If he was only attracted to blonde hair and blue eyes he wouldn't be dating you and he would be dating a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is clearly attracted to you if he chose to date you.

I mean, he's with you for a reason. So unless he's purposefully trying to put you down for not looking a certain way, it's not something you should stress over. Is he really referring to them as superior and genuinely trying to make you feel bad about not being blonde/having blue eyes, or are you feeling insecure and misinterpreting what he's saying?

He might talk to you like his bros about other girls, because he feels comfortable with you.

I mean, sure it's stupid to comment about other blonde girls to your girlfriend, but he might've gotten used to acting stupid around you. Tell him you can't really enjoy the comments and that it's a girl thing.
