Why was he shaking after kissing me?

me and my guy friend, not so friend have very recently started something, but we’re not dating yet. Today I left class for a few minutes and he happened to be outside so we talked for a while and he kissed me on the cheek as goodbye then later that day we hung out in an empty classroom and he told me that his mum loves me and she’s only sort of met me twice and then he asked if it was okay to kiss me and he also said it was okay if I didn’t want to, I definitely wanted to though. So, he kissed me then after he kind of breathed out and it was really shaky and he laughed at himself. He kissed me multiple times after that and ended up French kissing and so on, main question is why was he so shaky? and why did he mention his mum and everything? Also he’s not inexperienced, he’s been with and kissed other girls many times

He was probably finding it hard to believe that you actually had let him kiss you, he was nervous when he asked and a bunch of adrenaline filled his body so it was just him releasing all of it once he realized that he was just overthinking it, also a sign of relief that you didn't reject him
