Boyfriend complimenting other girls?

I have been together with my boyfriend for a few months now. He is a really good guy and respects me however there is something that really annoyes me and I don't know if this is something guys just ike doing.

When we watch TV and there is a commercial with a pretty model he will be like wow she is so pretty. Or when we watch a movie he will tell me that he finds the actress really good looking. He even points out girls on facebook which he finds attractive. He does this quite often. Guys tell my I'm attractive but I'm not the type of girl who is really confident. This is why it affects me.

Are there any other girls out there who have boyfriends who do this? Or guys...do you do this on purpose?

generally guys when see a model or anyother girl they give compliments before their girlfriends because they want their girlfriends want to be like that so indirectly they insist you in such a way

so don't worry try to understand his intention and follow the way he wants you to be with him

I disagree. It has nothing to do with wanting her to alter appearance or personality. It's like saying "I like those pants" or "that car is sexy". It's just stating an opinion. Nothing is meant by it and it's certainly not meant to be some kind of cryptic code.

It's nothing. Just because you might be in a relationship with someone doesn't mean that everyone else becomes unattractive. It's just something people do. Girls are infamous for it as are guys. Everyone is really... human nature I guess.

I do it and it's never to offend anyone.

My boyfriend does the exact same with the TV. It really enjoyes me as well. Some people find this acceptable.. I don't ! I guess we just have to measure the intensity of the comment. If he is just saying oh pretty model than maybe just ignore it but if it's too often and really like oh wow she's got a fucking hot ass. Then tell him in a calm way. I'm just telling you this advice but I'm in the same boat ! Hope this could be useful x

really means nothing but annoys me too. I act like it doesn't bother me, well I know I am attractive so really I don't care, unless its done too often and on purpose than I will get pissed off. fb thing I don't know if my boyfriend did that I think I would give him a piece of my mind lol that is not OK. TV and celebs I am fine with.
