Why would a guy text at 3am? booty call? But We haven’t had sex?

I kissed this guy a week ago and I texted him a few days after just to catch up but I didn’t have a reply and then Friday night 3am I received a text from him... ok probably he was expecting a booty call but he knows I won’t sleep with him. Is he just trying to get lucky?

If he's not an insomniac or working the night shift that is a booty call. Just because he knows doesn't mean he isn't going to try and there are enough women who say no then give in that it is worth his while to try.

I mean could respond the next day and just say you tend to be sleeping at 3am. Sounds like he's not relationship material but I don't fault a guy for trying. But the answer for me would me no. It he's a player or a non commitment guy he just has to find a woman who is on the same page as him. But if you are pretty much done with him you can just ignore the text. It isn't like you have a relationship if you just kissed him.

I know. I met him months ago but we were only classmates. We make out, he was sweet and said he wasn’t going to rush me. But never heard from him in a week until this text. Best to ignored him I guess.

Depends. What did his text say? I message a lot of people at weird times during the night because I don't sleep very well and get up once or twice a night, and during that time I'll check/be on my phone for a bit.
