I would imagine that he likes you and having your number maybe makes him feel a bit closer to you or something and maybe he was hoping to use to ask you out or something one day but then couldnt?

Some one else suggested that he might just be collecting the numbers, people collect all sorts of things so thats certainly possible although unusual.

Im not sure why else he might have it, you would have a better idea i think as you know who he is in relation to you and circles of friends etc

Because i found out that this guy, I was able to view his status & last seen on WhatsApp. However, when I used another phone/number (my sister's), I wasn't able to view his status & last seen.

The only thing we have in common is being in the same telegram group of about 800 people since we're from the same course of study. I actually made my telegram pictures, number, status public. I know this guy, but we aren't close. He's my senior. We have only met for like 4 times last year. We didn't exchange contact & don't even have each other's social media...
