What does my friends with benefits want and why won’t he tell me?

Okay so I’ve been seeing a guy, kinda like friends with benefits, for about a year now. He has become more affectionate lately and I’m not sure why. Why would he kiss me on the forehead when I’m sleeping and then leave me in bed, go to the gym, then come back to me and say he didn’t wanna wake me? Another thing is I’ve noticed that he is basically making love to me now and not just having sex, he has been looking me in the eye, is he making love? He also like never has me go down on him, but ALWAYS goes down on me and now he has started kissing my kitty, what the heck does that mean? He has made it clear we aren’t in a relationship, but gets jealous and angry when any exes try to message me or start issues in my life. Please tell me what the heck is going on and how I should be perceiving this?

It’s a friends with benefits. It’s easy for a guy to play an act while he’s receiving pleasure because he feels like he’s on cloud 9 while having sex. He wants to have unlimited access to you so if you have past people contacting your phone then that means his friends with benefits will no longer be available to lay around with.


You also mentioned he said he didn’t want a relationship so that’s clear he’s only in it for the fun with no strings attached. The two of you never went out on a date or spent quality time that involves building an emotional connection. Bedroom action is built around lust and he can tell you “I love you” as well in that moment but doesn’t mean he means what he’s saying. That's a hard one, doing that while saying is not a relationship is a mix sign. MAYBE he thinks you want to end the friends with benefits thing?
