Why would a guy's become really upset with me if I say I do not feel safe?

It is not I know them very well, I do not feel safe with every male acquittance I know. If there is any situation where I have to be alone with them for a meeting I tactfully suggest crowded place or ab online meeting where I do not have to be in a place where I do not safe. I specially say that It's not about them but I do not find the place to be safe but they get very defensive about it where they should understand my situation. They start explaining their good character.

Because they are small minded and take it personally instead of putting theirselves in your shoes. I get where that comes from but it does make you feel crummy to know a women might feel less safe around you even if you understand the reason why and it's not personal.

I am just explaining to you that men are routinely treated as though they were guilty unless proven innocent of being rape murderers and its pretty annoying.

I have ended potential relationships over this before, if you dont feel safe with me thats up to you, but Im not interested in going out of my way to pander to the wishes of someone who is literally prejudiced against me.

I do not know what goes through their mind but they kind of take personally instead of thinking from my point of view and they get really defensive about their character Where I have explained that the place does not feel safe and It has nothing to do with them

It’s either of these two things:

1. He could be immature and insecure so he thinks you implied meeting him would be unsafe as he would hurt you.

2. He is experienced and trying to get you one on one for sex. So he’s acting offended on the chance you give in..

Either way stick to your decision and always meet irl in a safe public place.
