Why would a male store clerk go out of his way to greet a female customer and always go the extra mile to assist her?

I thought it was just great customer service but I don't see him being this helpful with other customers. Today he lingered near me and was doing some busiwork (fake rearranging of objects) before he came to help me with candles. Another time, he gave me a display model item then put it in a different box so I would get it at a cheaper price. I just feel like there's more to it than customer service.

Spoke to the store clerk again. Definitely interested. Asked me my relationship status name, complimented my name, and asked me to wait while he served some other customers. He was being friendly but very quick with them. Anyhoo, he was very upfront and said he doeant make much money and only has money for a single person. Is he hinting he just wants a hook up or inquiring if I will consider being with a broke guy? Oh and he was all zoned out watching me leave.

Yeah I don't care about money. It's easy to splash cash around. It's much harder to connect and be interesting. That's what I appreciate. I keep attracting this very young dudes but I want a serious relationship. Men my age are mostly jaded and guarded and have very narcissistic defense mechanisms and approaches. Compatibility is an issie but I get on best with the 20 somethings and they are the only one's who are willing to actually open up and connect. It's frustrating because I've had my kids and I don't want anymore.

yes I told you to be ready for that but at least he is working and not a lazy bone I would stop and get a pizza and if you have a nice park to go to and talk about things if you are comfortable with him maybe ask him to your place and cook him dinner then see where it goes, I am glad you went forward with it hope you found the guy of your dreams

Went back to vuy something I knew would be gone if I didn't jump on it. He litnup when he saw me. After we exchanged nimbers he just seemed freaked out and couldn't even talk to me. I think it was a case of seeing if he could bag someone and that's all. Ugh. I hate that validation crap people play. Probably already in a relationship. Maybe, I'm wrong but he just clammed up completely.

Made a big whole deal about nothing. Texted him to thank him for his help with the item i bought by sending him a pic of it in my house. After that everything flowed seamlessly. I guess he was just thrown for a loop. And he is interesting!!
