Guy's Behavior

What are his intentions. Did He get my point?

it think this guy for some reason you used to observe me for 3 years. I thought because I was studious. He used to ask for study help and I gladly helped him but never talked to him more what he asked my help with. I was very formal but he kept the contacted for 3 years but I let him get personal. got to know from some people he is a brilliant student so I was bit confused why did he need my help, I am a average student. Again, he asked for study help and I helped him again but this time he took the initiative and expressed about his life and also asked about mine and I told him my study difficulties and he gave me motivation. He insisted to help me with studies over phone call. He kind of makes situation where he calls me for study and career discussion. He really complemented my personality which I was bit confused because he rarely knows me. I do not even know his full name and I also kind of forgotten his face. I asked some questions about him. He then asked about personal life and then he also warned me about my guy friend saying that guy friend is womaizer. He also mentioned that he was player now he is in a committed relationship. He also asked whether I heard any rumor about him. I said it does not matter I see you as friend and colleague but he told me there might something in the future as he finds me intresting. I said this will not happen. I told why is he saying stuff like when he has a girlfriend. He said he forgot. I clearly made him clear that I seek no more than a being friend which he accepted. Now he is again asking help with study and I maintained formal friendship. I am just confused whether he understood my intention. He praises me a lot for no reason to which I told him not to do it if it is not sincere. Why is he interested to keep the contact if we had so little infraction.
What are his intentions. Did He get my point?
