We were talking via snapchat and I had asked him for a selfie. He sent me one (it was a bit dorky looking, but still cute).
Me: Wow!! What a pretty boy. I bet all the girls say that though..
Him: I wouldn't know, but I'm sure guys say the same.
Me: Woah!! Okay... Now I'm curious, how many guys have asked you out?
Him: How many guys?
Me: Yeah, you said that you're sure guys say the same thing.
Him: Oh, I meant about you...

Me: OHHHHHH!!! Yeah, no, guys don't tell me things like this.
Also me: For a second there, I thought, 'wow, he sure is into himself' lol

Me: Oh... "Not-that-much." haha.
And then the conversation stopped there. Did I say something wrong? For the record, we are both straight (I am also asexual and made it clear right away) so I don't think I offended him.
