Why did my ex ask me what I love the most about how I treat him?

Him and I are kind of shifting gears like we’ve been having a lot of personal conversations lately, like he asked about my family and what I talk about with my mom, he asked about my future plans and goals, we had a hypothetical conversation about getting tats of each other’s names, we’ve come a long way, we hadn’t talked about stuff like this in a long time. But we were having an intimate conversation and then all of a sudden he asked me what do I love the most about how he treats me and I told him. I asked him what made him ask like was it just something on his mind and he said no. Then he went on to say he didn’t have a reason that he asked this question. I mean I’ve heard that say what they mean and mean what they say but that’s a really deep question to ask. I feel like maybe he still has feelings, I don’t know if we’ll get back together or not but things are looking up. I wanted to know what everyone else thinks.

I feel the same way, I’ve always had feelings for him, they never went away. Is that why he asked me what he did because he acted like he didn’t want to say? Is he not ready to admit to his feelings?

Lol he’s very aware of how I feel about him I make it known as much as possible, but as far as why he asked I’m not sure, I asked if it was just something on his mind and he said no he didn’t ask for nah reason in particular.
