I've been in love with this guy since we dated and we broke up 3 years ago. We reconnected on and off multiple times over the past few years. This past February 2022 he told me he thought we weren't compatible and that he didn't know if he wanted to go down the road of trying a relationship again, that he didn't know that we could with all the past hurt when I asked him out for coffee. So I said okay and left it at that. We had no contact since, then a week ago he reaches out over messenger and asks me a random question then tells me he has a business idea in my direction and asks if I would like to meet to go over it to see if I was interested. Haven't seen each other in over a year at this point.
The day we are supposed to meet, I message to ask if we are still on for today. His response was he would let me know in a bit as he was running late/behind from sleeping in that day. I heard nothing from him for 24 hours. I asked him if he was as nervous to see me as I was to see him and although he was online he didn't respond until the next afternoon saying, "No, sorry I couldn't meet yesterday, it was a crazy busy day". I'm not upset about not meeting, but why not let me know on that day, why not have the respect to let me know like he said he would. Was he just seeing if I would say yes? I feel like he's playing games with me, and honestly am trying to see it from another side with not much luck.
