What is going through my guy friends mind?

About 2 months ago I admitted my feelings towards my best guy friend and he softly rejected me by saying that he liked me at one point but that he didn’t want to be in a relationship bc he’s too insecure & that he’s 100% certain he doesn’t want to be in one. The issue is that he gets upset whenever I mention a guy that I’m into. I told him it was because I wanted to move on from him but he insists it’s bc I’m trying to “replace” him. It got to the point to where he wanted me to choose between him or the guy I was interested in & explained why he couldn’t be in a relationship w/ me bc he’d be worried that Id leave him for someone more “attractive”. Not only does this make me frustrated, but also extremely confused about his feelings towards me. I’ve also expressed this towards him but he never seems to fully turn me down so it’s hard for me to move on. Right now we’re fine with each other but now he’s making more sexual jokes about us being together. He used to do this before I admitted my feelings for him but now it seems like less than a joke. He ‘jokingly’ said that I’ve been rejecting his sexual advances and then Today he flat out asked me if he could *** in me. I thought he was joking but he never said he was. So now I don't know what to do? Do I move on? Is he confused about his feelings? Is he using me? We’ve been close friends for 3 years now.

Put him on the spot. He's hesitant for whatever reason, he can either own up to his own feelings for you or let you be with someone else. Not both.
