Lost interest? Strung along?

Me and this guy I previously knew connected online. For about 6 months we hung out heaps, crashed at each other's places, met some of each other's friends, obviously we're sexual. He said while we were hooking up I wasn't to sleep with other people. I agreed. Friends with benefits. But when alone with each other he would always have his arm around me, hold hands, cuddle etc.. kiss me sometimes before he went to work etc.. it was like we were a couple sometimes. Then bam I could feel myself getting feelings, I held back a bit, he backed off too. Then a month or so down the track he come around, hit me up about my feelings, I admitted them, he kissed me, said he's doing his own thing now but if I wasn't so crazy he'd marry me in a few years if I settled down. Continued to hang out a bit for 2 week's or so, was sexual again. Then after not talking to me for a week or so he text me he doesn't want to have sex or do any sleep overs ever again. After I responded like wtf why all mixed signals n etc n was a bit pissed off with him he told me to grow up and blocked me. Now I'm even confused to what our friendship was let alone anything else..
