Guy's Behavior

This is never ending and I'm looking for ideas on why this ALWAYS HAPPENS?

Everytime I see someone I knew from years ago HE WON'T STOP STARING AT ME. No matter where we see each other. We would talk but not like that. Friendly but not friends. A restaurant, store, out and about at other places, you name it. Everytime we would lock eyes he looks away smiling and continues to stare at me smiling sometimes and his family always stares at me too.

This is never ending and I'm looking for ideas on why this ALWAYS HAPPENS?
