Need a guys advice, is he just not into me?

This guy I used to like in high school that I never even tried to talk to now added me on social media so I thought nothing of it and accepted it. Anyways he texted me Tuesday being flirty saying hey and making conversation. He then said he wanted to talk to me on the one and then there was a new hours he went MIA and I was confused but then he texted me telling me he’s sorry that he was sleeping and so I was like “it’s alright have a goodnight (:”. Wednesday he didn’t text me so I don’t feel bothered by it I’m kinda like whatever. Thursday he texts me good morning ❤️ and I’m like good morning! And then we start talking about ourselves normal conversation and I texted him something at noon and he did not respond at all. I didn’t text him anything bad either it was more like what do you like to do for fun? Type question. I’m not sure if he’s not interested cause if he texts me tomorrow I’m like I don't know if I should even answer or just no longer speak to him cause I’m not sure if he’s playing games or not. He’s 22 turning 23 soon and I’m 21. I’m not sure how guys work but I also have the habit of kinda just leaving people if they’re playing games lol and never talking to them again 🤷🏻‍♀️ thanks for your advice in advance

Well the first conversation I ended it with goodnight and he didn’t say goodnight back so I wasn’t going to text him. Then yesterday he didn’t even reply to the text so 😭 I would text him if he was at least like oh hey I got busy goodnight!

Which I never said he was right for doing so but again u have not initiated any of your convos so I that can come of as u nit be intrested and responding to be polite

Because he could be getting bored with your conversation or think u are only responding to be polite and not intrested

He texted me this morning saying “good morning beautiful 😍” but he completely ignored my last message I sent yesterday. I’m not even sure if I should reply cause why’d it take a whole 14hrs for you to respond lol
