I ran into my ex from 3 years ago with their new girlfriend at a bar where my friend was celebrating their birthday. I did not know that my ex would be there for my friend's birthday which is weird. I moved on from my ex long time ago and definitely have no intentions of getting back together since he was verbally and emotionally abusive to me during our relationship. That is the reason why I broke up with him. I ended up going to a different bar with a different friend because I wanted to dance. I was looking for my friend who left me on the dance flood and all the sudden my ex walks by me telling me to follow him to talk to me. I did to see what he is trying to say. He told me I looked good and he's sorry for hurting me. I told him he shouldn't be talking to me don't want to get his girlfriend upset and cause drama. He ended up telling me with a big smile that the girl he is with isn't his girlfriend just a friend. I'm like whatever and I heard he has a girlfriend from mutual friends. I wanted to go to the bar to get a drink and he was going to the same place. All the sudden his girlfriend was sitting at the bar, making a scene yelling at him for talking to me, and calling me all names. I'm like that looks so familiar since he would do the exact same thing to me during our relationship talking to other girls, paying more attention to them, and flirting with them in front of me. I never made a scene like she did in public I waited til we were in the car leaving or at home. I later got a text from him saying he does care for me, and it was amazing seeing me tonight.
