In short, a man will fall in love with the woman he is steadily having sex with.

Not being with you is like getting fired from a job and his mind begins to melt in a frantic panic as he desperately wants his job back. Upon failure, he will have profound despair aka a broken heart.
So, congrats! It sounds like you have a man who loves you and has entered the panicked stage.
