Guys, Why do guys often go for girls who seem a bit promiscuous and are gold diggers? Why not modest, pretty girls who are smart?

To cut through this question as efficiently as possible, I will use some very generic assumptions, stereotypes, and generalizations. Forgive me, but it’s a rather good question and a lot of discussion could be had. So, most simply as I can possibly put it:


Men are visual creatures. We are definitely more attracted to a look than a personality quality. If I walk into a room I’m many, many, times more likely to notice the pretty girl over the smart girl. Thus, that is most likely where I will shift my attention to. Now, getting to know her may lead me to lose interest if she lacks substance and intelligence.


Now, we start having regular exposure to that smart girl in class or work or our social circle and we get to know her for her intelligence and personality then they can be very attractive to us. In fact this is probably the best way to meet a woman you will really want to spend time with. Just, for up front first impressions, she may not shine as much as the flashier girl.


Now, the killer combo is when she’s both! You get a woman who is pretty, dressed well, AND is smart and friendly? Watch out world. She’s a high worth woman and men will fight for her.

Also, I should add, promiscuous women and/or gold diggers tend to be more assertive and aggressive in their persona and take some of the work out of the equation for men since they are on the prowl themselves.

Plenty of guys go for that type of girl over a hoe. The guys getting with hoes either know it and want sex , are too innocent to know better, or are just desperate simps.
