I think it’s open to debate and discussion as to whether his friendship is inappropriate or not. What is certain though is your snooping and then posting his conversations in a public forum are almost certainly crossing some line. I don’t think at this point confronting him with this thread will do you any good. In fact, I think it could end things. Bury that secret and never speak of it but keep that knowledge to yourself and never do it again.

you're going to be the "other woman", even if his girlfriend. this woman is #1. how you going to displace that? she's not even very engaging with him.

go to therapist without this message, and have him present his communications with her.

you're in a situation you probably aren't' skilled to handle. so get help if you want to proceed.
