List 3 ways to motivate yourself to lose weight!?
Thanks!!
The easiest way to lose weight is to change your diet. It's easier to avoid eating 500 extra calories per day, than it is to exercise 500 calories per day away.
The simplest way to conform to a new diet is to portion out each meal at home at the start of the day, or the previous day. Set it aside, and make a note that it is all you're allowed to eat for the day. No snacks, no soda, no juice.
If you wait until you're hungry to decide on portion size, you're pretty much going to over-eat.
If you find yourself hungry still, either deal with it, or make a salad. A lettuce + 2 tomatoes + a vinegarette dressing (lower in fat) will have only 100-200 calories.
Do that with some mild exercise and you should start losing weight.
Use a calorie calculator online to find out how much you should be eating to lose weight.
Hello :) thanks for your advice! I actually practise intermittent fasting and only eat between 5-8 pm, which seems to help because I don't have to keep thinking what to eat next! I guess the hardest part is that my muscles get tired after approx 7 days of exercising and because my BMR is pretty low, like around 1500 or something, I feel pretty hungry if I don't exercise for a day (I only get 1000 calories to eat)
I only eat foods which keep me full and with heaps of fibre like veggies and apples, as well as low cal protein and some fats. It just gets boring sometimes which is why i wanted some new motivation
Hey, I was over weight and tried so many things. Different things work for different people and I was lucky enough to find one that worked for me. I lost 18 pounds in one month without much exercise and it's been a life changer. I'm a little embarrased to post my before and after photos here but if anyone actually cares to hear what I've been doing then I'd be happy to help in any way. Just shoot me an email at secretosdelara@gmail.com and I'll show you my before and after photos, and tell you about how things are going for me with the stuff I've tried. I wish someone would have helped me out when I was struggling to find a solution so if I can help you then it would make my day
Personally, pictures of people don't motivate me. What I did was stick up sentences reminding me about why I'm working out, as I'm trying to join the military. Another thing, it pictures maybe about where you're going. Also, I have my gym's schedule on my wall, so I know when classes are going or when it tends to be busy, during family hours. Also, I have my goals on my wall, for me its completing an IST, so I have the times or how many I want to be able to do as it helps when I don't want to work out.
Make sure the pictures don't make you feel too self conscience, as sometimes that can make people think why bother, or see it as unachievable to look exactly like them.
I have a fitness plan thay I've tapped in my bathroom. God guidelines that help me remember. I also have articles of strong women that I admire.
When I go running and when im losing steam I like to remind myself of im doing. That im there in the first place and building my strength. Knowing im becoming powerful and strong keeps me motivated. Hopefully these help!

1. Looking nice in that cute dress
2. Swimsuit season
3. Feeling more comfortable in clothes in general
I just walk more and cut out the junk food and add more fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of water and sleep more (lol, I broke that one last night).
Convincing yourself that you look and feel good in your body is an awesome thing. It keeps me motivate through workout and gives me strength and energy for those final, most important reps, where your body is burning and shaking but you still pushing it. ;)
I just go to my bowflex-like machine in my basement, turn on some exciting music and start moving my body to the music. The music is what keeps me motivated to move my body.
Only 2 things motivate me
1. Being fit so that my daughter doesn't have to walk with a pot bellied father & is proud of him when she walks with him
2. The mirror (only second to point 1) ;)
One thing that really helped me when I was losing weight was a countdown clock to event X, in your case, a vacation.
I had one on my phone, and I also made one out of a notebook and ripped a page out every day
You have the right idea, and also, every day, look at workout routines, this will motivate you into doing what needs to be done to eliminate those final few pounds, good luck, x
Imagine how good you'd look after toning your body. You'll be satisfied by your increased physical endurance and stamina. You'll feel better about yourself and in turn you'll mentally be healthy too.
Think of impressing a really hot guy. >.< That works for me. XD
Walk around the house naked all the time and look in mirrors when ever possible.
That should do it!
