Trying to lose weight. Any healthy snack suggestions?

Fruits but specifically berries. They are the most healthy of the fruits, save tomatoes & avacados. But berries actually tastes good so I put berries.

Nuts.

Raisins for iron.

Yogurt but pick Oikos yogurt. Get the one with fruit since the regular kind tastes like sour cream. Ugh.

oh, and if you feel like eating chips eat those fruit chips (whatever they're called) and if you feel like eating ice cream eat yogurt instead ;)

Replace your Bread and grain carbs with fruit carbs, that way you still have energy, and you will lose more weight by focusing on complex carbohydrates.

It depends, are you genuinely hungry between meals, or are you just looking for something to sort of keep yourself entertained?

I'm much more likely to make myself a coffee or a tea in that situation. And when I'm cutting weight down, I put more effort into really good tea or coffee - loose leaf teas, my favorite type of coffee made slow in a french press maker, etc. What I really want is a little break, something to focus on, feel like I'm having something 'nice', something physical I can enjoy.

When you're trying to fix how you eat, you might realize (most of us do) that we eat for a lot of reasons - when we're hungry, when we're bored, when we're sad and want pleasure, when we want to break up the day, etc, etc. Its just easy to fix all those 'problems' with food. And when we want to stop eating garbage all the time, we have to figure out for those different needs what different strategies we can use to meet them.

Light & Fit Greek yogurts. Highly recommend them, only 80 calories per container, and no fat. Get the strawberry cheese cake, SO FUCKIN GOOOOOOOD

Cut back on empty carbs. Substitute it, intake less sodium but don't cut it drastically, do so moderately.
Trail mix is always okay, but eat in moderations too much of anything isn't good.
