Girls: What are your cramp remedies? ( guys can answer too)?

I have severe cramps and always have. I literally can not function without taking Tylenol (I'm allergic to just about every other pain meds) . It's been so bad I haven't been able to walk because the pain radiates into my legs or I've thrown up or not been able to eat at all. I've been to the doctor but they just tell me there's nothing they can do. Please help! The pain is horrible and it's driving me crazy :/ I'm 17 by the way , I'm game for just about any remedy.

Heading pad, green tea, and almond chocolate can ease your cramps but if it gets worse please see a doctor, there are some health problems can cause bad cramps including ovarian cysts :( 😕 hope you get well soon

I've asked about the ovarian cysts but seems like when I bring it up they automatically shoot it down like it's not even a possibility. Like somehow I have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm going to try the almond chocolate though never tried that. And thank you :)

Depending on the type of cysts and comes and goes :/ they usually ask you to get an ultrasound... Hope you are okay :(

Nope they don't even try that , they just automatically say I just have incredibly horrible cramps. But thank you :)

Don't let the idoit doctors shoot stuff down. I was 15 and had severe cramps and all. I Googled, talked to people and saw my symptoms matched Endometriosis. The doc said, top young.. which is stupid. If you are menstruating you can have it. I had to literally tell them to do the diagnostic laparoscopy. They said... Prob not find anything... well they did... Burned it off and put me on hormone therapy for 6 months to get the rest. I was 16. So a while back. I do diet and herbs to keep it under control as its not curable..
Point is. Don't let them tell you that crap is normal. Its not.

I am. Like I said. I control by diet and herbal stuff. Its bearable now. Then it was horrible... ER type of pain... I hope asker will stand up to those docs and make them do something, like I did.

Oh wow @ladymcbeth. I'm trying but it's like each time they just shut off and basically like refuse to take anything into consideration and I just leave. I wish I could get them to consider cysts because it's just crazy painful and exhausting.

Try an anti inflammatory pain killer (Advil and such like) those are good... Do you like bananas? Try eating those.

I'm allergic to Advil. Yeah I like bananas I'll try it :)

You need an anti inflammatory pain killer... Whichever one you aren't allergic too... I just named Advil as its popular. I'd say alcohol too but you are too young.

I take Midol, run a hot bath, and then I eat chocolate in said tub. Then I take a nap. Either in bed or in the tub. Once I fell asleep on the bathroom floor.

Oh man, Midol is my best friend. That'd suck. But yeah, the hot water helps me. And apparently so does the cold floor. It's actually happened more than once. My boyfriend came over once to surprise me and found me wrapped in my towel asleep on the floor. :) Also, ice cream.

Lol yes as my doctor puts it "I'm allergic to all the good drugs" . He's weird , but yeah I thought to cold floor thing was just me I've fall asleep there a couple times. I've heard ice cream helps never tried it though. I'll have to do that.

One time, when my cramps were bad, I ate 3 tubs of ice cream. Vanilla, cookie dough, and oreo. That's like...192 oz of ice cream. Just ate it all.
