Overthinking, how can I stop?

I overthink nearly everything. I observe a lot and usually put different bits of information I see/hear together and makemup a scenario that I want to think or sometimes not.
For example, with a girl if I wonder if she has a bf, I'll take up little bits of info and fit them togther to convince myself she's dating. If she leaves work early, she must be going on a date. If she's done her hair, she must be going on a date. If she's gexting, she must be texting him. If she likes a restuarant on Facebook it must be where they've gone for food. Yeah sounds insane I know but I can't stop this trail of thought.
Anyone else an overthinker?
