It does help to have your meals prepared and ready to eat...
I eat lean proteins, as much fruit as id like and at least 7-8 servings of vegetables everyday. Also protein in the morning and after exercise in the afternoon...
I don't have the same foods in a specific day but I do cook and pack my good for the week on Sunday nights...
Stay clear of all sugars except fruits... Fructose is sugar but your body knows how to handle it because it's not refined.
Keep apples and grapes on hand to munch of you get a craving for sweets...
Keep cooked grilled chicken breasts at the ready as well... The protein helps build muscle and it keeps you feeling full... Also, WATER WATER WATER! I drink about 1-1.5 gallons per day... You should start with 12 cups (5.5 - 16.9oz bottles) a day... You'll pee a lot but it's really good for you!
Gluten free diets are not my thing.. That said, from what I can tell, they have gluten free versions of most things...
Most importantly, while you are losing weight, don't have alcohol, at all! Each time you drink, the body has to burn off the alcohol so it shuts off fat burning and uses the alcohol as fuel... This sucks and leads to people getting frustrated and quitting their diets...
Anyway, you'll both do great!!!

Well, if your diet is not varied and you don't know what you are doing, you can miss some essential nutrients. I pretty much eat the same thing every day but I make sure that I take supplements. I also try to add something unusual on Sundays - a big salad and fruit.
I keep a protein centric diet and I need to make sure to get some greens. I eat almost no carbs.
I find it's the opposite. If I eat the same thing over and over, I get bored and won't eat it anymore. For me, I need some variety

I usually do, its my weekly routine of chicken breast, broccoli, brown rice, and sweet potato.
or when I get sick of that, sandwiches :DIt does make things easier. If you have a stable diet, it makes it much easier to gauge its effects on your health, body composition, etc.
Heck, I have mostly the same foods everyday, with the exception of dinner, where there is more variety--but even dinner is on more of a rotating basis of the same few dishes.I'd say it's healthy to have some variety in your meal.
I made a big change regarding my meal and I started eating salads (and dang they're delicious!)
Don't you have salads in the super market? I usually have a few to choose fromAs long as you're getting a good mix of veggies in with each meal and you're meeting your macro and fiber goals it's perfectly fine. I do it.
