Any diet that promises fast results is a gimmick and is not healthy. The military diet, first of all, is not even close to what they actually eat in the army. This diet does not encourage fat loss, it mostly encourages the loss of water weight which is not long-term. Not only that, but when you put your body in a caloric deficit, you severely damage your endocrine system which then regulates your hormones and metabolism. This essentially means that you will gain it back as soon as you start eating enough food again. I wish I could give you a quick fix, but there isn't one. Sustainable weight loss that lasts long-term is done by making changes to your lifestyle. I'm not trying to tell you want to do, if you're desperate for quick weight loss, then by all means, do the military diet. Just know that you are damaging your endocrine system which will make future fat loss inevitable.
It works but it's only meant for 3 days you just lose the water weight. You're going to have to be active if you want to lose more, you just have to eat clean and cut out some carbs and sugar. You can try running 3 days a week ,
The military diet is not an actual military diet and is a form of self destructive disordered eating. Realistically you can lose weight at a healthy rate and still be eating upwards of 1200 calories a day and that's what you should be doing for your own health sake.
People who work hard with lots of cardio and healthy diet can easily lose 3+ pounds a week.
Diet alone I'm not so sure how much it can take you. Diets do work because you eat a calorie deficit but they are not so amazing as they claim to be.
