Do you know what wrong with my throat?

I have white slivers and spots on the tonsils that are mucousy. I also noticed bumps in the back of my mouth. I have no pain or discomfort but I am very worried

The main issue is it being an std. I have no idea what the problem is but my biggest fear is that it is an std that can’t be cured

Went to the doctor and they are tonsil stones. Very relieved

Looks like tonsil stones. Those can occur when food you eat get trapped in the tosil crypts and decompose and turn white / cream. Does your mouth taste bad or smell bad? Even if it doesn't, you won't always be able to smell it. I can see your tongue has build up, probably from food. I assume you never use a tongue cleaner.

I am not A Doctor, but it seems to me that all of those issues can be cleared by using a curved syringe with warm water to flush out the tonsils, a tongue brush with hydrogen peroxide 3% to clean the tongue, and general good dental hygiene.

They are called tonsil stones. I get them too. A water pick can get rid off them when they show up. Or remove tonsils

I'm a registered nurse so I cannot diagnoise you but I would advise to either see your primary care provider or if there is a walk-in clinic or ER it would be a good idea.

@gguy767 That's terrible that it was so difficult for you to get a test, you should just be able to request those in my opinion. There are some clinics depending on your country and geographic region where you can just go and request STD testing no need for a doctors order. I wish there was better access everywhere ofcourse but yeah best for the poster to get it checked out either way.

They're just tonsil stones. very normal if they aren't causing discomfort then there's no need to worry.

With the best will in the world, none of us are qualified. If you are genuinely worried, go and see your doctor. Worrying about something can do far more damage.

I hope it turns out to be nothing, but best being safe than sorry..

My guess the start to tonsil stones. I've dealt with them in my niece I had to have her eat a huge thing of ice cream last time she got them so I wouldn't have to drag her to the doctor. (Not literally, she just throws a huge tantrum that turns her into a wet mess. She is well aware I jokingly say all the water she drinks goes to her tear ducts.)

I'd get that checked as it could be the beginning of tonsil stones.
I had my tonsils removed when I was around 8yo due to almost tonsil stones and infections, it is easier dealing with them before they get to be a problem, and having your tonsils removed is not pleasant at any age.
