What is it that made you want to get healthier?
If you were your ideal weight, what would you do?
Would you buy tighter dresses? Imagine stepping out in a hot, tight, red dress.
Would you buy cute little shorts? Imagine strutting your stuff at the beach in those shorts.
Would you buy skimpy lingerie? Imagine slinking around in a little lace number.
If you got to your goal, would you appreciate and love your body even more? Imagine being worry free and loving your body, even more than you do now. Imagine being able to feel pride in your muscles and your tone.

I entered a modern ballet class. Now I think, I want to be the best, and I make it a little competition. Plus, we have he teacher to push us. Always telling us to streach just a little bit harder, jump a little bit higher. It helps. Maybe you could enter a class as well.
With running you should track your progress. If you have a little money to spend, go pick up some Nike+ equipment. It will track your mileage, pace, and so on. It's usually best to not increase your mileage by more than 10% a week. It may also help you to pick up magazines like Runner's World or Muscle & Fitness just to give you some examples and success stories.
Also, before you get in the shower, stand naked in front of a full-length mirror. That's usually the best motivation.
Either work out with a friend or a group. Or mentally just keep the end in mind- what you want the working out to lead to.

While eating, put a mirror in front of you. You become really self conscious about your food and you eat more controlled portions. As for exercise, see if a friend will exercise with you. You could make it like a competition or something.
exercise with a friend or listen to music helps a lot. And what helped me was seeing results. If you can force yourself to stay on schedule long enough see the results will help you to stay on track
You have to really feel the need. Like if you want to be fitter to be strong so people don't want to fight you or something like that.
Plain running is kinda boring and really hard to get motivated for. Why don't you try a sport?
Motivation is internal. You "say" that you want to get in better shape, but your actions speak louder than your words.
You need to get involved with a sport or a class so there will be other people to play with.
you have to find motivaition from inside yourself, you just have to see it
