Anybody else feeling sore today?

Maybe its from all the furniture i move around at least once a week, but I don't know I’m just too sore to move today. I hardly slept and I’ve been tossing and turning in bed. Its almost 1pm 😂 I mean they did say the lumbar puncture I got last year might cause long lasting back pain. Normally its in my lower backside but lately its all around the back of my shoulders. And sometimes i hear my body make a crackling sound around the spine area. I hate I’m too ticklish for a massage because i probably need one #FeelFreeToList

Oh yea plus i lifted a bunch of cases of water when grocery shopping yesterday. So I don't know if i pulled something but My she hulk strength has gone down the drain

Woke feeling refreshed and limber this morning for once.

Hope your back starts to get back into shape quickly. Maybe the recent work stress has gone to your back and using computers is bad for backs anyway.

A thing I do is lie on the floor with my legs on a chair and books under my head. Then listen to music and let my spine stretch out. When your back is relaxed, it is flat against the floor. Having your legs on a chair takes weight off your spine.

Works for me. I also stretch my back over a foam roller but you need to be sure it is only a muscle problem.

Try the chair and floor trick first. About 2 inches of books under your head. Foam rollers do hurt until your back muscles let go and might not be appropriate today. Also you need to be sure it is muscular pain. Valium is a good diagnostic it is the only muscle relaxant there is.

I had a bad partner dance accident and spent about a car on my back but those two no cost techniques gave me best result in fact.

Oh and good posture at the keyboard. Ears over shoulders, shoulder over hips. Let your bones carry your weight not the muscles. Sounds like you shouldn't do too much today and if you have pulled a muscle don't aggravate it. If it hurts stop doing it :)

Yeah I was sore in the morning. My lower back was hurting and my broken ankle was hurting a little. I probably maybe just slept to long it my friends with benefits rides me too hard last night. Luckily I got some strong Ibuprofen for my broken ankle and something called Norco which is a different hydrocodone pill.

Why don't you go to a physical therapist OR trainer? You might find that your body strength is out of balance.

Often, if you haven't been exercising regularly or have slacked off due to being busy, when you hop back on the horse, you'll be sore. Rest is the cure for soreness. Warm baths in epsom salts, topical Aspercreme, aspirin or tylenol for body aches.

Unless you're truly worried about that back issue, try the easiest cures first. If none work, then it's time to see the M. D.
