Atm, the goal is to lose 20 pounds for an upcoming little sexy special occasion, but overall Iβd love to be 120 pounds. Even when in my best shape and at my slimmest i was never that lol. But its a goal. Anyways i tend to easily lose 20 pounds when i cut down soda to just a few days a month, eat more fruit weekly, and drink more water daily. But of course i can only do that for so many months before i fall back into the habit. I also like to cycle but I want to do some weight training, i just dk when that part will begin. Anyways, I pray i dont get sick again, but whenever i have, it lasts around 2 weeks to a month, and i lose my appetite, just sleeping all day or waking on occasion to drink water so that often sheds the pounds as well. #FeelFreeToList

+1 yI feel you on wanting to slim down. 20 pounds is a solid goal that'll make a real difference. As for getting down to 120, don't stress too much if you can't hit that exact number - what matters is feeling healthy and confident.
I want to cut down on weight myself and build more muscle mass than I have to do strength training and work on functional strength and gaining a six pack abs.
Cutting out soda is clutch, that shit is liquid candy. Fruit is dope too. Make sure you're still fueling your workouts though, don't want to lose too much muscle.
Maybe try some bodyweight circuits if you're not ready for the gym yet. Pushups, squats, planks - you can do them anywhere and they'll torch calories. Or go for runs outside to mix it up from cycling.
Just focus on balanced healthy habits long-term over quick fixes like getting sick. Take progress pics to stay motivated too. You got this, just be consistent and you'll shred that weight in no time. Hit me up if you ever need a workout buddy!
16 Reply- +1 y
Why do you want abs? Just flatten/smooth/tone up the tummy. Abs are overrated but its whatever you want. I like situps but pushups and squats hurt π©ππ€£
- +1 y
I would just want abs when I am able to flatten my stomach area for now you can say I have a dad belly but not much you know what I mean. Getting shredded ain't always the vibe! But I know for you, there's something sexy about a tight little midsection underneath some cute tops, you know
For me, I want to look better for my age and have definition as I may want to try out boxing to be in top tier condition.
As for the workouts, I feel you - pushups and squats be brutal! But don't skip leg day girl, shit ain't cute π Maybe try the girl versions with your back against a wall till you build up strength. And you can always sub in planks or side planks for regular pushups if they're too hard.
Plus yoga is lowkey lit, stretches you out and works your core real good. Throw that on while you watch Netflix, multitask things! Yoga ain't so bad either tho ngl, gets you flexible. Just don't tell no one I said that hahah.
Just have fun with it, don't stress. A little something is better than nothing anyway right? We just tryna look and feel fit, you already look good as is. Youβre gonna look cute and toned, but on your terms! No rush, do you. - +1 y
Yea i like yoga, dance cardio and cycling
- +1 y
Nice man, yoga, dance cardio and cycling all seem way more fun than just lifting weights. I've always wanted to try yoga more, seems really relaxing but also a good workout at the same time. I bet it helps with flexibility too.
Dance cardio just seems like the best way to exercise without even realizing it cause you're busy busting moves and having fun. Gotta find some good dance workout videos to follow along with.
And cycling is so chill, you can just zone out and ride around for hours listening to music. Plus it doesn't hurt your joints like running might. Seems way more enjoyable than spending hours at the gym.
I'm gonna try and mix more of those kinds of workouts into my routine. Anything that makes exercising feel less like a chore is a win in my book. Props to you for finding active hobbies you actually like doing man, that's the key to sticking with it long term I think. Keep dancing and cycling girl, you're totally right that those are way better than boring old lifts and stuff! Also for that sexy occasion, you gon look finer than Tyra Banks hell youβre finer than her now. - +1 y
Yea my problem is i rarely mix up my exercise routine anymore

+1 yI've lost about 12-13 pounds in the last several months - slow but steady. My short term goal is to lose another 2-3 pounds. Then I want to concentrate on not gaining it back. After that I have a longer term goal of losing more weight, 5-10 pounds at a time, then maintaining that weight.
I don't know how much I need to lose. I'm overweight, but not obese. The last time I was at a healthy weight was 17 years ago before I quit smoking. I've lost a lot of muscle mass as I've gotten older. Muscle is heavy so I don't know what my ideal weight should be now - not as much as it was then.
I'd like to lose another 10-12 pounds then judge then how much more, if any, that I need to lose. I also want to gain some muscle, but that might be pretty hard at my age. I might not be able to gain muscle at all.
19 Reply- +1 y
Wow great goals
- +1 y
A few days ago I saw two people that I hadn't seen in several months. Both of them commented that I had lost weight. I was surprised that it was noticeable, but apparently it is.
What I don't like is that I lost weight in my chest, and now I have saggy titties, lol. I don't like that at all. I totally wasn't expecting anything saggy or stretch marks or anything like that. Not sure how to deal with it other than lots of push-ups. - +1 y
Yea lots of pushups and certain arm exercises
- +1 y
I do curls and presses with dumbbells. It's also fall and time to rake leaves. That's actually pretty decent exercise and works a lot of muscles.
- +1 y
How many does it take to finally see some arm difference
- +1 y
A heck of a lot more than what I'm doing. I think right now I'm maintaining at best. I do sets of ten. I think to gain, I'd need to do several sets, with not a lot of rest between. At my age it's very hard to gain.
- +1 y
Yea dont overwork yourself. Im sure you look great
- +1 y
I've been seeing a hot young chick. Well, young means late 50s, but she looks more like 35-40 and is very good looking and trim. She's kept herself up over the years. It's only fair that I do better.
+1 yI highly recommend home bodyweight workouts! They're great to start building muscle and they're free!
I want to get to 100-110lbs. I'm small and Asian, so it's healthier for me to be slightly underweight relative to western standards.
Plus with martial arts and climbing, lighter is easier to work with. It's a journey but I'm getting better at incorporating more water and veggies.25 Reply- +1 y
Yea i looked at some earlier that i intend to start on the weekend. Just cycling for now
- +1 y
Great start! Starting Bodyweight is one of my fave sites, it has amazing resources and comprehensive guides.
- +1 y
So true! Body weight then once you get toned, add weight :)
- +1 y
Heck yeah. Though in my opinion I really like heavy weight lifting more. You can get a great full-body workout in 45mins and build hella strength while getting compact muscle.
- +1 y
Lifting heavy rules! I love exerting all that energy. You're right it does not take much time to hit all the muscle groups! :)
+1 yAll of it my diet sucks 😭😔. Nothing I cut back helps and I'm just always hungery!
Just poof away my fat belly... Well make it look skinny to me. Not really fat just feels like it won't go down any!
Want to be 140 right now 160 waaaa!

Thing is im rarely hungry but sometimes iβll snack if mad π

So bad when mad about snacking and like so hard to work it off!
One candy bar is like 3 hours working out!
Half my mad icecream well kind aignire those calories they go into being mad - +1 y
Yes its unfair how long you have to workout to work off the smallest thing lol. Imagine what i have to do after one soda π€£ And well i ain't been doing it until this week haha
- +1 y
So long I'm glad that I don't drink it. I drink vitamin water instead of coffee now! Like 1 3rd the bottle I'm fine and awake!
It's the Starbucks drinks that ruin me! - +1 y
I've been trying to drink coconut water and green tea to replace soda. Still drinking more water than both. I drink coffee maybe once a year if i have really bad cramps but thats about it. I play my music and dance around a lot while working so thats helping me workout til i can hop on the bike
- +1 y
That sounds great!
My hubby says let's just have more sex! Like that will burn a ton of calories! - +1 y
Haha that is true. I might be pouncing on him for the new year so i wanna make sure i look and feel my best haha. Tryna beat my past record of 17 hours ππ
- +1 y
You can do it!
- +1 y
Thanks for mho
At my heaviest I was about 180lbs, I lost about 50lbs, I cut out sugar and drank more water. I've maintained the 130-135 for about 5 years+. But lately I've been gaining. It used to bother me losing gaining, but idgaf anymore.

Thats amazing you maintained it for so long. Last time i maintained was like HS and college. After that, it constantly ships up and down

+1 yI haven't stepped on a scale for years so that I don't feel bad & don't damage the scale (scale abuse). I'm guessing I'm 225 at 5' 10.25" in bare feet, 5' 11" in shoes. Since I started out thin & was so for many years, I'd say lose 75 lbs. At my age I'm concerned about heart attacks & strokes. And when I was 150, I was stronger than most men who weighed 225. As you age your metabolism slows down. Plus, I'm no longer interested in running like I was years ago, so I'm probably stuck where I am.
11 Reply- +1 y
Lmao not scale abuse
Ohh do you mind sharing what your little sexy special occasion is? I'm so curious.
For me, I'd like to cut some fat. There's no one calling me a fat guy, but I know I'd look and feel better if I got my 6pack again. I would need to drop about 20 lbs too.
13 Reply- +1 y
Mmm just Might be going βall the wayβ
- +1 y
Haha same!
I had a bad habit of not eating much a few years ago and I was usually under 100lbs so now I really make sure to keep up and I'm around 115-120. I'd like to be 125 to really boost the appeal of my "assets," but I burn off enough calories to prevent that I guess.

20 pounds isn't much with my height, so this time it will probably take a bit longer. For me what's made the most impact is spreading what I eat out across the day and not just have a single meal.12 Reply- +1 y

Your not going on s crash diet are you? 🧐
You better make some more time to reach that goal in a healthy way because doing it the anorexics style just isn't worth it!
Woman should stop thinking they have to look like a super model because the fact of the mather is that 80% of men don't like very skinny woman because they are fragile. Feeling bones isn't exactly what we like, nothing wrong with having some love handles to hold on too 😇🤔01 Reply- +1 y
I don't know what a crash diet is and nah im far from anorexic. I was just saying when sick i mainly drink and sleep. And im far from bones. Iβm eatin my lays rn π€£
