How do you regulate your food intake?

well I eat too much...so I was wondering how you personally keep yourself from eating more then you should. I eat with my eyes instead of my stomache lol

Do something to stop you from thinking about food. Go on a walk, go do an activity, read a book, anything that gets your mind away from that. It sucks I know, because I love to snack too, but you have to force yourself to just get out of that frame of mind. After a while it becomes easier because your body adjusts to having less food.

thats not my problem really. I just take big portions when I actually eat. Like I eat til I'm full

Then I would cut down on the portions. Use a smaller plate, that trick helps to make you eat less without feeling as though you are getting less. I did that and it does work. You can also try drinking a big glass of water before your meal so you won't eat as much.

yea I know I need to cut down on portion size. The plate idea is a good one. Il try it. Uhh I drink water all day long and I have a lot of milk with my dinner

well when there are no live babies available then I simply don't eat because there is no food source obviously

If you feel like eating but you know you shouldn't at that moment then just keep yourself busy, go do something to take your mind off it.

i don't really have that problem. Its when I'm eating a meal I eat too big of portions. I always go back for secounds =/

best thing to do is to drink a lot of water. Reduces your apetite at the cost of 0 calories.

I have the same problem as you. I eat and when I'm bored again I eat some more.
