depending on what your doing. there are faster ways of getting the weight off that are healthy but its challenging. easily this summer you could lose thirty lbs. cardio, cardio cardio at least 40 min to an hr 5 4 days a week is your friend you want to burn first(once you burn then you can work on tone a definition.) its a process :P
eating a clean diet too, protein, turkey chicken and fish are your friends

you can eat as many eggWHITES as you want there are no carb no fat, egghwite are all protein.
no egg yoke or a whole egg does a body right
but you shouldn't eat it everyday its still fat.
a whole egg everyother day is really good though
snack on vegtibles like peppers carrots and cucumbers, try not to dip them in dressing though.
a good bowl of oatmeal for breakfast is a great start. and having a nice size apple a day is good as well!

There is a great app called lose it , it helps you see how many calories in certain foods and it estimates when you will reach your goal. If you don't have a smartphone just google lose it and it will take you to the website!
Shoot for about a year, MAYBE a little less if you work out more as you get more fit! Try substituting more veggies, pasta with meat sauce, or more fish for the steak and ribs and you'll find it easier going. What on earth happened to get you from 150 to 230?
I lost 60 in 6 months. You may want to switch away from chops, steak, ribs and stick just with lean protein -- fish and chicken.

Weight loss varies. nobody can tell you how fat you'll lose weight. When I first lost weight, it dropped. I lost sixty pounds in 8 months. I was on the elliptical five days out the week and lifting weights. I lost ten of those pounds by walking more lol
Just keep making better choices and don't even think about it. If you put any time constraint or expectation on that kind of weight, you'll sabotaging yourself. Set smaller goals like lessening carbs or five-ten pounds a month. Pace yourself.depends how fat you are, for example a 500 pound person can lose 80 pounds in 2 months a 250 pound person will probably take 6 months to lose 80 pounds. Both parties doing the same diet and exercise
A reasonable goal is 10lbs per month. You need to do more cardio and consider outlining your calorie distribution throughout the day. It's possible to eat healthy but still eat too much.
