Weight loss is mostly about decreasing calories or increasing exercise, or both.
If you're already running, that should be enough exercise (you want aerobic exercise to lose weight, not weight lifting or other things that build muscle). What you need to do then is to modify your diet. Since you don't have a lot of weight to lose, you shouldn't have to do too much.
Increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Reduce your intake of:
- fats
- fried foods
- sugar
- starches (potatoes, pasta, bread, etc.)
And finally, drink more water.
You won't need to cut your overall volume of food down much if at all, just eat less of the "bad" foods and more of the fruits and veggies. Don't drop your protein intake much, though (meats, eggs, fish), because you need that to be healthy.
