Am I the only one who can't wink and can't raise one eyebrow 🤔?

Everybody I know.. They can do it. I don't get why can't I do it. I can't even whistle. I feel like I'm a weird one, lol.

I have known girls who suffered from not being able to wink. It is one of THE most amusing things to watch them try. Like it makes my day... especially if they're determined to get it. Trying (and failing) to wink gets better and better the longer you try.

I hope you can at least take some solace in the fact that your affliction brings joy to others. You just have to keep trying to wink; publicly and often; preferably with real-time running commentary, and you're basically almost a saint.

Now as for not being able to whistle... what's wrong with you? You're quite the weirdo. I would tell you that's nothing to be embarrassed about... but that would be a lie. You really shouldn't tell people about the whistling thing. I value openness and it... but still, I'd advice you kept your lip-air issues as your own private, shameful secret.

Funny. Never heard of that.
I have developed this strange habit when I am in bed at night listening to the TV but trying to fall asleep. I keep my eyes closed so the light doesn't affect melatonin levels so much, but every once in a while in these comedies something really funny is said and I open one eye to see what's happening. But I only open my right eye. I can easily keep the left one closed. I have read things about ancient breathing techniques, and how moving oxygen into one side of the brain instead of the other... for instance closing the right nostril brings oxygen to the left side of brain which is 'rest and digest' so supposed to be calming. I think isolating one nostril or eye, etc. over the other could have benefits and send certain signals to the brain. Just sayin'.

That's interesting. I just it's just like I can make snapping sound using my right hand fingers, but when I try to do it on my left hand, it hardly makes any sound and sometime it doesn't. lol
