I just got home from a 30 day group tour. On the first day, the woman on our trip bragged about how her husband was so brave and deployed for several more months. By day 29 she had sex with four guys that we know of. One was our friend.
@Red_Arrow Oh I'm sorry, I was too busy thinking of the U. S Air Force Pararescue, the guys that get sent in to rescue everyone else and have the hardest training of the U. S Special Forces
@Waffles731 - They have been around for a long time and are tasked mainly with search and rescue type operations in combat areas, and giving medical assistance under those conditions. However, their task is to get in, usually by parachute or rope from helicopters, rescuing people and getting out. A long stay would likely be 72 hours.
Seals usually have to infiltrate or fight their way in, fight battles against larger forces, giving rescue and medical attention where needed, and then fighting their way out, often being there for many days, or even longer.
And the though the Pararescue teams rescue many, the Seals do not use them. Their assistance is from the Special warfare combatant-craft crewmen (SWCC).
So ask Osama who was assigned to take him out. And again, I invite you to tell your feelings to a Seal's face.

So many guys cheat on deployment, it's ridiculous.
It happens a lot unfortunately 😥
They do. I've seen it. Especially Navy wives.
Upvote for the dig at the navy
I'm an Air Force Brat
@Waffles731 I'm a Marine and we're under the Dept. of the Navy.
Only Technically,
The Marines were formed because the Navy couldn't police themselves
The Marines were created literally because Washington didn't trust the Navy to police itself, so he created the Marines.
Who then proceeded to show the navy Sailors how it was done at places like Tripoli
Though admittedly The founder of the Navy is a personal Hero of mine.
Because John Paul Jones was awesome
@Waffles731 He was a neat character.
@Waffles731 - With no disrespect to the Marines. I invite you to say those things to some Seals!

@Waffles731 That they do. Marine Force RECON and Navy SEALS have rough training as well.
My dad played on a rugby team with a few Pararescue guys.
@Waffles731 They are different.
80 TO 90% OF THEM CHEAT WHILE AWAY
I'd hope not
False.
