He says “you leave and don’t let me know you’re going home and it gets on my nerves”

He says he always figures out I’m gone when my car is gone but he says i should tell him when I’m leaving. Sometimes while he’s in the shower i leave because it’s time for me to go to work

It’s upsetting when your partner just leaves without informing you and some people get panicked. I would be devastated if my boyfriend left without telling me. I’m a sensitive person but I just think it’s cold to not even say bye when leaving someone’s home, even if it’s family or a friend. It’s just disrespectful to just up and leave.

It should upset him. It’s rude and disrespectful. You can knock on the door and crack it a bit and say you’re leaving. Like just leaving and not telling someone is a dick move and it will upset almost anyone. If it bothers him, talk to him about it. Work on it. It’s not a joke if you’re genuinely making him upset. Why don’t you ask him why it makes him upset so you can get a better understanding.

It’s literally just respecting him. It’s rude because you upset him when you do it and you continue to do so. You are in his home, to just up and leave is disrespectful I matter where you are. Doesn’t matter what you’re leaving for or where you’re going, you tell someone you’re leaving. You say bye. Just because it wouldn’t bother you doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it for him.

I know many people are jealous but there should be limits on how jealous you get. This is too much in my opinion. He might also be protecting you but I would monitor him before further commitment to him.
