Do I have a right to be annoyed that my boyfriend cleans his car but not mine?

Question

He gets up every Saturday morning and cleans and details his car first thing, but never does mine and I'm starting to get annoyed, I hate washing my car, it's so tedious, but he loves it.

He hasn't taken and hints from me saying that I'd love my care to look like his, and he says that he can show me how, but that's it, I'm about to blow my top!

The nerve, it's you car you messed it up driving it go to t the car wash, i say that with love, but just because he enjoys w shining up his jalopy didn't mean he wants to make a career of it, hell i enjoy knocking the dust off mines to don't mean I'm going in Search of a opening at car wash, besides it's tiring just dusting of your ride and two do another that's overkill unless you got to pay the going rate to do so, it's but you can't expect him to clean your car why not do it together you can watch how he wax on, wax off, and enjoy the time together i bet once you do the first time you well s appreciate just dropping your bucket off throwing some coins at cashier and wait for Jose to wave his towel indicating your chariot is ready, just don't forget to tip him a few bucks or next time that towel won't be waved so quickly and all your spare change will be gone also, no armor all on your tires either so have a few bucks handy as you go to your local jalopy scrub, but you have no right to redirect him to wash your car or even get an attitude that's not right

He doesn't love cleaning his car, he lives the way the car looks and the way it makes him feel when it's clean. Have you asked him to clean your car directly? Maybe come up with some aspect of the cleaning you would enjoy and do that to both of your cars in exchange for him doing the tasks you don't like. It is your car and you shouldn't be mad he chooses not to clean it for you

Maybe wake up with him and clean yours at the same time and ask him for help. Make it a bonding time but don’t expect him to clean up your responsibilities. Your car your responsibility. Would it be nice if he did it? yeah of course. Does he HAVE to? Nope. Hope this helps ◡̈

I don't think you have any right to be mad. Cleaning a car takes time, and his time isn't free... besides, why on Earth wouldn't you just directly ask him to detail your car? If you want your car cleaned, you should just directly ask him. If he doesn't want to do it, then pay someone else.

You are not entitled to his time investment, especially not when maintaining a clean car is part of the understood basic responsibility of maintenance for owning a car.
