We were cuddling. He said something cute then asked me a question (I can't remember what) but it cause me to say thanks hubby. I didn't even realize I said it until he said it back to me. He blushed and hugged me tight and kept repeating it. After a little bit he looked up at me and called me wifey before we watched a show. He's asleep at the moment but was that alright for me to say? It was a slip of the tongue but I have thought of him like that before, I wear his promise ring and he wears mine. We've been together for 8 going on 9 months now. He says it feels like it's been longer. I'm his first serious relationship ever, (he's gotten up to 2 months before) and he is my absolute first everything. He's 26 and has been in relationships before me. I'm 21 with some baggage from an assault but because of that I have never been in a relationship before. My question here is: Is it too soon to say things like that? I call him Habibi and ghivashel as he is my treasure among treasures. But I think it might be too soon to say things like that because we haven't hit a year yet. He's seen me at bad times and sad times and I him but we haven't fully seen the out of control times or the seriously angry times yet. I guess I'm trying to see if it was okay to say? I mean he received it okay. Giggled and hugged me for joy so I think it was good but I can't help but worry if that was a litte to much right now and that it didn't just show my affection for him.

If you both feel comfortable with it. you keep on saying it. Don't listen to anyone telling you it's too early.
