How do I get my parents to allow me stay with my boyfriend at a hotel?

I (20F) have previously moved to another country with my family and met my boyfriend (20M) through Tinder, we constantly FaceTime and talk to one another. We have seen each other before in person and my boyfriend has even met my dad. We have been dating for more than a month.
We live an hour away from one another making seeing each other difficult, this week he would like me to come to the city where he lives, take me out for a nice dinner, get a hotel together and the next day go on a day excursion. He wanted to get a hotel so that I am not driving back and forth 2 days in a row and it would be easier to stay in a hotel (which he offered to pay for since he invited me)
Unfortunately, because I am new to the country, I do not have my license, and my dad has to drive me to his city when I see boyfriend, meaning I rely on him to drive me. My family also expressed the fact of locals using foreigners to get green cards or even just the fact of safety. However, before moving to another country my family has failed to realize that I was in college, living in my own place where I have had quite literal strangers in my place, sleeping over and they would have no clue. This would basically be the same thing but except with my boyfriend whom I trust.
How do I convince my parents to allow me to go, even though I am an adult but I still live "under their roof."

I mean technically you don’t need their permission, as you are very much an adult. However you have to do what will sit right with you and also, you rely on your dad to drive you. So looking at it from a parental perspective, it may be uncomfortable for him dropping you off to the new guy you’ve only known a month, plus you’re in a foreign country, this guy could be anyone behind the mask. But maybe you can give your dad all the background you mentioned here, like sparing yourself all the driving, if you really want to push it then complain about cramps, which implies it’s your time of the month and no “woohoo” will be happening lol.

Do they have any rules against it? Is your boyfriend actually going to stay in the room with you?

If it was me, I'd be like... hey I can have sex anywhere, room or not... that won't stop me. That is, if that is their concern. My parents never would of asked though, at your age.

You could ask your dad to drive you, and then pick you up the 'next' day. That you'll be staying at a hotel over night.

That's the type of thing where some parents realize their "kids" have transitioned to adulthood and whether they like it or not have to allow them to make their own decisions... or some just can't get to that point and try to maintain strict rules.

Not sure how you convince them to change their mind other than allowing more time for them to get to know your boyfriend. What if y'all got a hotel in the city where YOU live? Do you think your parents would be more open to that idea?

I mean maybe give the picture of your boyfriend's license, phone number and essential details (like address and stuff). And your reassurance to your parents that you will text them every so often while you are on the trip with your boyfriend so they know you are safe. just standard stuff.

You probably will not be able to convenience them that it is ok. Possibly only if somehow you can convenience them that you are staying in the hotel by yourself.
