I'm currently looking to add a second woman to my life and I'm curious what people think regarding how I can make it a more inviting prospect for women who are lukewarm to the idea.
A good portion of what makes poly work is good communication and rule setting. What rules would you have?
Would you rather date as a side one on one, or as a group? Would you want to live together if a poly relationship deepened or still have your own place?
If you are against it, aside from the traditionalist argument, why?

Under what conditions if any would you want to be in a polyamorous relationship?
I want a woman to make me the center of her universe and to treat me as the most important person in her life. I have no right to expect that unless I accord her the same treatmenet and the same respect. How can I do that if I divide my time and feelings between two or more women?
It's not terribly hard, particularly if you all live together to share attention without anyone feeling left out.
As for being the center of her world, If she's with me 99% of the time and wants to go on a fun little vacation it's not a worry for me as long as I know she's safe. I know she's not going anywhere in the long term.
I want her to be free to have her fun and live life to the fullest. By the same token it's nice to know that if I meet someone I really like I don't have to feel guilty or conflicted.
I was raised catholic and found myself constantly restraining myself and turning down what would likely have been fun happy and possibly lasting relationships. In order to adhere to traditional morality.
Then one of my female friends whom I'd kept at arms length died due to depression and subsequently not managing her diabetes
I realized how stupid it was to have left her out in the cold over antiquated ideas of right and wrong. All she likely needed was a little love in her life.
Well there's not much point of living if you can't trust even your romantic partners. Sure they might let you down, but the harder you hold on to something the faster it slips through your fingers.
"Trust" is different thn "knowing" what someone will do in the future.
"Besides, variety is the spice of life." So that's the motivation and everything else is the justification. As long as your partners agree to what you do, it certainly doesn't matter to me. But. . . to thine ownself be true.

Here's an example We're going to have woman A and woman B I am currently dating woman A but me and woman a eventually meet woman B and we actually end up liking her well if we both like this woman then I guess we can share woman B together if women B doesn't mind effectively making her part of the relationship as a romantic interest to both of us
Basically while I wouldn't aim for polygamy if the time comes and I'm with someone and they wanted to add another woman into the relationship I could totally see myself doing that it wouldn't be the first time actually.
I’m not really “against” it per se, I’m just personally not the kind of girl who likes to share my partner with other people lol. As far as opening up your relationship, I think you need to talk to your partner. If she’s open to the idea of seeing other people, great but if not then you need to either A.) keep the relationship exclusive only to you and her or B.) end the relationship and find some one who’s on the same page as you. I’m not bashing polyamory, but it has to be mutual in order for the relationship to work

I don't judge but never sharing my man ever and of course im all his once we're exclusive and loyal to the core, no other people. Life is already hard enough and having one solid relationship too, why make it harder? I also don't want any other girls to have my guy because i dont share and im not to be shared either.
I know some people grow apart or maybe lose focus, some butterflies but no relationship is supposed to be like that forever, i think great communication is the key and trying new things together, effort but if your girl is open to it and you guys think it'd help i dont see the problem as long as you guys established that and the girl you let in is aware also.

i think it could work , or rather it would only be acceptable to me if All 3 were equally loyal to each other. all 3 would need good communication and be on the same page. Otherwise I think if it were 2+1 or 1+1+1 then it would feel too much like an open relationship or be too casual. Too complicated
I don't know. Sauce for the goose... I'm not sure how I would feel if my partner were having sex regularly with another man. If it were a one time thing when she was away from home I don't think it would bother me. But I don't think one can know until it becomes a real possibility.

i'm more or less just saying that i'm against polyamory. those conditions are ridiculous, which i'm fully aware of. but that#s the conditions i could accept that under.
well i'm into women sexually. i don't wanna fuck men xD so naturally i would fuck extra women xD i don't want more than one full time, cause emotional stuff and maintaining a proper relationship takes too much work to do with several people. sex is easy. i can do that with many.
