Unless my weekend has other demands on it (e. g. a shift or a plan with one of my friends), I'm flexible.
If I'm flexible, I see no problem with waiting.

You're not going to have a good and healthy relationship if you'd rather troll online with the same boring shit than actually have a conversation with your partner.
Just talk to him. He's your boyfriend, not an unknowable being.
