Since alcohol is allowed, and that too in limited proportions, how do you maintain the fine balance between being addicted to it and drinking it casually.

It is the alcohol's taste that people like. So how do you maintain the fine balance?

I am fine with someone who occasionally drinks alcohol in moderation, but does not drink to the point of inebriation or drive while under the influence. I am NOT okay with any tobaco use or illicit drug use; it's a deal breaker.

Smoking is a deal breaker except for the truly, very occasional cigarette if we're out drinking. Other tobacco use is out. Alcohol in moderation is fine. Drugs are a deal breaker too, again unless it's occasional or a little weed on a regular basis. The key is that she's not dependent on any of it.

I would be ok with drinking as long as he was only in special occasions, not every day. As for smoking and doing drugs that's a big NO for me.

In India, it is a common occurrence to not consume alcohol in the house. The outside condition is exact opposite😅!

That's understandable. Cold countries have higher alcohol consumption due to which the dilation of blood vessels happens and blood flow increases. Feeling warm, as the final result.

Preferably none of them. Except if it's only occasional drinking with his buddies, then I don't care. Also I wouldn't let smoking cigarettes get in the way of a loving relationship either.

tobacco no, but the rest are all fine in moderation. Majorly that they aren’t addicted, can quit if they rlly decided to, and they won’t continue to do so or limit it as they age (just cause health concerns)

No. There's nothing wrong with drinking alcohol (within reason), but smoking/vaping turns me off big time
