Why does being in a relationship make me lazy?

I have so much motivation and determination to do things and make my days eventful and enjoyable but the second the honeymoon phase ends in a relationship, I get lazy.. I don’t do or even enjoy my hobbies and just get extremely depressed. I know this isn’t normal so what is it?

I would say it's very normal. The first thing I try to do is stop the ultra-high effort in areas that I don't care about and keep the good effort. One chick, in particular, kept hurting her feet and struggling with makeup... it took a lot of pressure but damn she looked so much better without makeup and could walk so much further without high heels on.

On the other hand, I did not want her to get fat. I did not want that to change at all.

Could be that your taught that relationships are supposed to fulfill you, so when they don’t, you get really sad.
