What does love mean to you personally?

Have you been in love? How did it feel and how did you know?

I'm trying to understand what romatic love is more specifically since I think pretty much everyone can tell what sexual love is. Do you picture being in love as going on dates, hand holding, etc? Or spend you life with someone and doing everyday things together?

It’s the straight to the point- willing to die for someone. (That you care about/ love).

It’s finding their presence enjoyable/ funny/ relaxing 100% of the time.

It’s sharing the meaningful stuff some honest and raw stuff. 😤🧠🤕❤️‍🩹

It’s embracing the imperfections of each other, that point to human definition: bodily waste 💩/ bodily injuries 🤕/ bodily infections 🤒🤧

It’s being there for them no matter what. No matter what. If they truly need it.

It’s you crying/ pure agony when you see them hurt.

It’s Anger when you see someone try to deliberately hurt/harm/ cheat/ degrade them.

It’s being on the edge of your seat 💺 when they reach for their dreams and take big leaps because you want them to do it, and succeed.

It’s trusting their capabilities. Recognizing limits and working together to both improve, when seeing the openings/ opportunities to do so.

It’s ecstasy when they accomplish milestones in their lives.

It’s a smile, when you see they’re sleeping, with calm sealed eyelids, unaware to the world outside, or the present moment.

It’s the laugh when they mess up something rather simple, and just have “one of those” days- trip on air/ choke on spit.

Love is when they’re your favorite person. ✨

They may point out/ relate certain things, to stuff about you, or little things only you two know about.

and for the guys lmfao…

It’s having that sexual time and feeling connected. Having all the above, realizing that, and seeing their innermost parts, and inner most emotions. That of desperation, build, and pleasure.

It’s possible, everything listed above is walked through and felt, in a single sex session, without even verbalizing it. (when you both LOVE each other, of course).

It’s doing things for them, that they may like, that they do indeed like, and that you like, personally.

Love is without effort- never giving up.

The truest form is when you just give it..

and not expect anything back, but that person…

I voted A. I experienced it with my sister, for a time. It was me doing whatever I could for her, even as she grew distant from me.

We were best friends 💕✨

I experienced a great deal of it from my mother for a time, and her love helped me to understand. Both hers and the latter love and bond I would receive from my once, absent father.

Love is a special thing. I hope everyone finds it. It’s not that hard when it’s real. Not hard at all..

I don't know, I think 'being in love' and 'love' are two different things.

Being in love is more like an infatuation, that makes your heart beat faster, etc...

In this phase you think the other person is perfect and everything they do is just amazing.

Now, love is wise. We start feeling it after months or even years, love is the feeling of even though acknowledging they have their flaws, you still love them and they're still perfect in their own way.

When you really love someone, even the slight thought of that person not being there with you anymore one day causes u extreme sorrow. U can't picture a perfect world without them.

A lot of people say 'I love you' when they're actually just 'in love'.

Love is complicated because it involves a bunch of different factors all at once. Physical attraction, enjoying each other's company, attachment, bonding, feeling possessive and protective, overwhelming joy and excitement, addiction to that person, and never wanting to be apart. Our systems release chemicals to our brains when we fall in love and everything in life seems better when you're that happy and content.

Being in love is like an incredible high for certain people (Especially lonely people who crave attention from the opposite sex). That's why breakups are so difficult for some people and they crash hard into a depression.

I think I'm in love. I was told by a friend that probably not, it's too soon. It doesn't have to go anywhere. I was watching a movie the other day when I was thinking about him, watching the main characters fall in love, and it gave me so much joy. So now, every time I put this movie in, I can think about him for the rest of my life. It's like a little portal into happiness.

Love means self-sacrifices to me personally..

I'm a kind and compassionate person by nature, and I'll make compromises for people i care about , but I'd never be able to make a self-sacrifice for someone I didn't love. So if I love someone, I'd be willing to make sacrifices in my life for the sake of their happiness.
