Ok so I get along great with my boyfriends friends he has now. We go out together and support each other.
A few weeks ago some of his old high school friends showed up late at night. I never met them before and meeting them was so awkward. They didn't talk to me at all and kept talking about the good old days with my boyfriend. But what bothered me the most is they kept talking about my boyfriends ex. My boyfriend told them he is not interested in talking about her and he is happy with me. I started feeling very weird. My heart was beating fast and I didn't feel good so I said I'm going inside. A few minutes later they left and my boyfriend came in and we watched a movie together.
Now every once in a while they would call him drunk asking where he is. He would lie and say he is visiting me in my town because he doesn't want to hang out with them when their drunk. They just want to party and hook up with different girls. They keep trying to make plans to see him again and they said I could come as well but if that ever happens I don't want to go. Is it bad that I don't want my boyfriend to hang out with them? We have been together for a year now and they never reached out to him when they are sober. Only when their drunk. My boyfriend accomplished a lot this year and me and our friend group supported him all the way and celebrated with him. Not once did his high school friends even send a message to congratulate him or reach out to hear how he is doing.
