Do you think we are attracted to people who look similar to us and vice-versa?

Happened to stumble on an article about it and it's quite interesting to see how accurate it was (from my personal experiences). What do you think about it?

I think we attract people of the same sex who are similar to us and become good friends with them.💀💀🤣🤣(almost everytime)😂😂

This I think is because we gel well together because of similar thoughts, ideas and goals. We can discuss everything with them and they will understand us.

Butmost of the time we attract or are attracted to the people of opposite sex who are dissimilar or opposite to us in character and behaviour and choose them to be our life partner.

This I feel is because when we look for a life partner we look for someone who will complete us. Someone who has the traits that we lack and which we feel we should have had. Which is why introverts are mostly attracted to extroverts and vice versa.

I'm not saying it always happens but most of the couples I have seen or met are like that.( Like everywhere , my observing skills are really good llolll)😌

It's quite common in my experience as well to comprehend that 'opposites attract'. But that's been mostly for opposing characteristics, my question was specifically regarding the looks of the person :D

No. If anything, I tend to be attracted more to the OPPOSITE of how I look; tall pale redheaded women (although I am overweight and I like thick/BBW women the most.) And many men like the opposite of themselves in short, petite, skinny, flat-chested young women. I voted option C, but I think this will be different for every person.

Yes i would say the one who have appearence like us , who somehow behaves likes us , have some common habbits likes us. So we usually get attracted to them.
