I have been somewhat scared of dogs since when I was little. I can still be uncomfortable with some dogs.
I would say it entirely depends on how well he has them trained. - and that he respects that I might need some time to be more comfortable with them

No. 1: There is no "love of your life." No. 2: Ten of ANY pet of any kind is too many, especially needy pets like dogs. And though I enjoy a cat, there are no 10 cats I'd want to see or have underfoot at any time.
There are many people on this planet who can love you and you can love without a bevy of animals being attached to them. Let him find a woman who wants 10 dogs AND him in her life. They're suited.

I love dogs too but 10? That could be... a nightmare. Not because they love me, but because I'll love them so much I'll panic if I see one missing and I left him outside to use the bathroom... and now he's gone. It's like have 10 children. >_<
